Abstract Decisions

Acceptance notifications have been sent out on May 31. If you have been accepted and are unable to attend the conference, or if you have not received a notification please contact us at

Abstract Submission Information

The call for abstracts is now closed. Please note that images submitted will not be eligible for printing in the program book. If your abstract is accepted and you present it at the conference (oral or poster), you will also have an opportunity to submit a full manuscript to be published in OnePetro. Your abstract will also be included in the program book and post-conference proceedings.

Oral Presenter Instructions

Laptops for projection will be set up in each of the presentation rooms – please have your presentation uploaded on the appropriate laptop at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the session you are presenting in.

Poster Presenter Instructions

Posters can be up 30” x 40” in either orientation. There will be poster boards set up in the conference rooms Ballroom of the Americas AB; you can pin your poster on the board with your poster number (please see the Posters page for your poster number) on it as soon as you arrive at the conference. Posters may be left up until the end of the conference. Poster presenters may choose to present their work at one or both Poster Sessions.

Rapid-Fire Poster Presentation Instructions

All poster presentations are invited for Rapid-Fire Presentation. Rapid-fire presenters are given 90 seconds to present one slide describing their work to all conference attendees. In the event that there are too many posters, we request that authors of multiple abstracts condense their talk to allow others a chance to present. You will be notified on-site if this is necessary. Please have your slide uploaded into the presentation laptop at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.
